Edible Chocolate Face Mask by Spiezia Organics

1 Face Mask





  • 1 dessert spoon of Faitrade cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon of organic local or manuka honey
  • 1 dessert spoon of organic greek yoghurt or sour cream
  • 1 dessert spoon of oatmeal powder
  • 1 teaspoon of Spiezia Rose & Vanilla Face Oil


  • Mix all the ingredient until the mass in consistent
  • Apply on the face
  • Gently massaging it so that oatmeal can start exfoliating the dead skin cell layer
  • Leave it on for about 20 minutes
  • Rinse off with luke warm water


  • Cocoa is very high in antioxidants and frees the skin from free radicals which are related to ageing, so its a great anti-ageing treatment for the face
  • Honey is a great anti-bacterial agent, deeply cleanses your skin and opens up clogged pores
  • Oatmeal is recommended for sensitive skin. It helps calm and moisturise the skin and can be used to reduce dryness. It can be used in preparation of facial masks for any skin type and is a gentle facial exfoliant
  • The acidophilus in the yogurt helps prevent breakouts and lactic acid really brightens, and hydrates the skin
  • Spiezia Rose & Vanilla Face oil – organic rose petals and vanilla in jojoba oil moisturize and nourish the skin and regulate moisture levels
